- Rechargeable batteries
- Efficient heating and air conditioning including the use of Biomass and 95% efficient heating and air conditioning units
- VOIP voice communication and conferencing
- Recycled paper used when printing is required
- Draft quality settings on printers
- Recycled printer paper and printer cartridges used
- Incoming post and packaging is sorted and re-used where possible or recycled
- Fair trade, organic food and drinks for staff
- Ultra low energy consumption or recycled computer servers used
- A rated energy efficiency or Energy Star appliances throughout the office
- Environmentally-friendly cleaning products used
- All equipment turned off when not in use
- Staff walk to work, use public transport or work from home
- Low water-use appliances used
- Errands for banking, post office and supplies consolidated
- Equipment/supplies research done online
- High efficiency insulation, windows, doors and roofing on facilities
- Xeriscaped (low water use) plantings around facilities
- Cement siding on facilities for stability, longevity and minimized paint use
